Men do have to frame excuses, mostly because the other fairer sex expects an answer and you do not have one genuine reason in the pocket.

Situations that arise are too common for most men.

1. Being late and keeping her waiting for a long time

2. Forgetting to call her.

3. Forgetting to wish her on midnight of birthday

4. Talking bad or good about her friends.

Here is a small guide to save you from possibly getting slapped, when the above situations occur.

1. This one just happens, you are late sometimes. While normal excuses like a traffic jam or “i was in an important meeting” don’t go too well. Avoid them! Something else would fit better like - “i was in a long meeting with my mom, and i was talking good about you. I guess she is convinced now that you can be a part of our family”. When the girl is late, you have no freedom to ask her why. But why?

2. Forgetting to call her. - Do not accept that you forgot. It is a bad answer, really. “I was not well and i slept off” is a good answer. You can also use this, if you understand it can sell - “i tried to reach you , but i was not able to”.

3. Forgetting her birthday is a sin. Better keep a reminder. You are in deep shit, if you forget her birthday. i do not know why, but i always remember all of her friends’ birthdays and wish them too.

4. Talking about her friends can be dangerous. You got to lie something like “i feel you are the best girl in your group” and you know what follows “the most beautiful too..”. Generally never point a girl in her friends’ list as good or bad. She might be a rival or her best pal. In case you want to compliment, you can say “She is almost as good as you”.
